Who is the symposium for?
AFCOM's Australia Symposium focuses on management, business and technology for the data centre. The sessions are created with data centre professionals in mind. Attendees include data centre managers, MIS directors, CIOs and other IS professionals.

Can I register on-site at the symposium?
You may register onsite at the symposium, although we encourage you to pre-register via our online form. Pre-registration will help ensure that you receive all attendee materials offered. Onsite registration will take place at the AFCOM registration desk located at the hotel. Onsite registration will require payment via credit card.


Can I get a receipt/invoice for my registration?
If you register online, you will be presented with a printable receipt at the end of the registration process (on your confirmation page). Please print that page for your records; it acts as your receipt.

Symposium registrations must be paid via credit card or wire transfer.


Can I make my hotel reservation when I register?
No, but you can make your reservations via phone or email directly with the hotel. You'll find complete information on the symposium logistics page. Please be sure to make your reservations early, as our room block fills quickly.


When is the Early-Bird registration deadline?
The early-bird registration deadline is 4 May, 2012.


What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be received in writing. Symposium fees are fully refundable, less a $100 handling fee for cancellations received by 5 May, 2012. Cancellations received between 6 May and 1, June 2012 will be refunded at 50%. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations received on or after 2 June, 2012 or for no-shows. Membership fees are non refundable. Substitutions may be made at any time without penalty.

Is it safe for me to register using my credit card on the AFCOM site?
Absolutely. This Web site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your personal information when you place your order. This means your order cannot be read as it travels over the Internet, so your name, address and credit card information are secure.


What if I'm having problems with the online registration process?
If your problems are technical in nature (your browser is reporting errors or pages are failing to load correctly), please first try quitting and re-launching your browser, and/or restarting your computer. Also, be sure you are not blocking cookies in your browser's preferences (cookies are required for the registration form to work). If the issue persists, contact us and explain your problem in as much detail as you can.
