Message from the President

As a longtime supporter of AFCOM, specifically the Atlanta Georgia chapter, I would like to start off by saying that it is an honor to have this opportunity to serve as your next President! We are excited for the re-launch of the chapter, our new board of directors and focusing our efforts on improving educational programming, industry outreach and growing this market as an attractive location for data centers.

I would like to welcome and congratulate our new board of directors:
• Vice President, Rob Swift, Georgia Southern University
• Secretary, Jason Midlam, Armstrong Fluid Technologies
• Treasurer, Christy Lowe, Mitsubishi Electronics
• Membership, Drew Henderson, GEIST Global
• Events, David Misiaszek, Iron Mountain

I would like to thank our former President, Michael Frazee, for his guidance, years of service and dedication to the chapter.
The AFCOM Atlanta Georgia chapter was formed over 20 years, for the purpose of providing education and resources for data center management. Those who join the chapter are seeking to increase their knowledge and network, as well as gain exposure to industry best practices, resources and professional opportunities.

This industry is one of the fastest growing in the country and it challenges us more than ever. With new technology, more affordable real estate, low utility costs and favorable business climate sets Atlanta, Georgia up as an attractive place to be. If you are not already a member, now is the time to join us.
