Janna Luther Connor

Chapter President

Janna Luther Connor has over 25 years of experience within the Facilities Management realm, with specialties in project management, space and move management, tenant management, and data center management. Janna’s career started out within the design/construction/architecture fields with a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University.

She currently manages the structured cabling and building operations projects within the 277,000 sq. ft. corporate data center at HCSC / BlueCross BlueShield of Texas. Janna has been active in USGBC Board, IFMA, BICSI, Texas Tech University Advisory Board, and AFCOM – Dallas/Fort Worth Board.Director- Event Logistics.

Rikki Wells

Rikki Wells serves as an account manager for Rittal’s Data Center Solutions group. Rittal, the world’s leading manufacturer of data center enclosures. Rittal manufactures the world's leading industrial and IT enclosures, racks and accessories, including high efficiency, high density climate control and power management systems for industrial, data center, outdoor and hybrid applications.

Lance Bishop

Chapter Treasurer

Lance Bishop is the Director of Professional Services at Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and data center solutions. He is responsible for Schneider Electric’s life cycle services team focusing on data center performance, availability, and total cost of ownership. Comprised of consultants and sales reps, this team routinely helps clients optimize mission critical space through changes in operation, equipment, and management / monitoring of key components. The Professional Services team is a key step in Schneider Electric’s Mission Critical Services offering, which helps clients at each point in the life cycle of their data center.

Lance joined Schneider Electric in 2000 as an analyst and then sales representative for the Energy Solutions Team in the Buildings Business, which performs guaranteed energy savings performance contracts. During his tenure, he has served in a variety of roles, first as a sales representative and mentor, then as a sales team leader beginning in 2006, and most recently as Director of Energy Management Service prior to his current role which started in 2014.

Lance holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Baylor University and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for the DFW AFCOM Chapter and was previously the Green Schools Chair for the North Texas Chapter of the USGBC where he lobbied congress on behalf of Green Building Standards. Lance is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and holds the designation of Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP). In his free time, he writes informational articles and blogs for various publications and delivers educational presentations on improving energy and life-cycle efficiency within data centers.

Jerod Green

Chapter Secretary

Jerod Green is Director of Sales for Enconnex.

Jerod has 8 years of experience in the data center space across multiple organizations and roles. He worked to develop a channel strategy with Server Technology, managed a high volume territory with Anixter, designed/installed connectivity solutions with both Methode Data Solutions and Data Center Systems.

Prior to receiving his BS in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas, Jerod served in the US Army as an armor crewman, deploying to Operation Iraqi Freedom in October of 2006.

Jerod serves as a Director on the Dallas/Ft. Worth Afcom board, a position he has held since 2014. Jerod lives in Plano with his wife and three boys.

Al Nichols

Director of events

Al Nichols is the President and CEO of Pinebreeze Technologies. He studied economics at the University of Delaware before earning an MBA at Harvard. He began his career in brand management at Frito-Lay, helping the company triple sales to $3B in five years. Al subsequently operated businesses in international trade, manufacturing, and distribution before focusing on technology in 1997.

Al founded Pinebreeze Technologies in 2000 to help simplify the data center. The mission of Pinebreeze’s team members is to make life better for the people who run data centers. Pinebreeze is a leader in relocating data centers and implementing data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems. Pinebreeze works closely with colocation providers, supporting their internal operations, and supporting their clients with Smart Hands and Managed Services.

In response to the growing regulatory and risk mitigation pressure facing its clients, Pinebreeze attained SOC 2 compliance in 2015, a first for an independent service provider. Pinebreeze is known for its consultative approach and for creating and promoting best practices.

Al is a past President and current Director of the DFW AFCOM Chapter, and is active in the 7x24 Exchange and the Uptime Institute. Al is also active in 121 Community Church, and with his family serves Orphan Outreach in supporting orphans in Honduras. Al lives with his wife and daughter in Flower Mound, TX.

Sean Morrison

Director of Events

Sean Morrison serves as Global Solutions Executive at Vertiv (the former Emerson Network Power), a $4B startup leading the transformation of the mission critical infrastructure industry with agile, flexible and sustainable solutions, available for rapid deployment globally. He leads complex, often global engagements for large colocation, telco and Fortune 500 clients based in Texas, the South-Central US and strategic markets.

Sean has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, enjoying a range of roles developing expertise in software, compute, and critical infrastructure. Most recently, and prior to Vertiv, he spent 10 years serving in key client facing roles with portfolio responsibility for Fortune 500 clients based in St. Louis, Kansas City and Northwest Arkansas at HP. While at HP, he lead large technical and sales teams to pursue and close complex global services/solutions opportunities at HP, including one global project that resulted in a (very early PaaS) patent where Sean was honored to be named as co-inventor.

Additionally, Sean lead the team that developed a global service governance policy, still in use today at HP. Prior to that, he served with several technology firms notable for innovation and thought leadership in software design (securing a large OEM contract and leading a team to develop next gen assessment tool) and services.

David Grubbs

David Grubbs is Vice President of Sales for Texas Moving Co., Inc. and 2 of their subsidiaries, Texas Archives and Electronic Transport Corp. David has been with Texas Moving Co., Inc. for over 19 years, and prior to coming with Texas Moving Co, was in the Document Imaging business for 2 years and prior to that in the Office Equipment Industry for over 20 years. David is a Certified Professional Mover and a Certified Moving Consultant, certified by the American Moving and Storage Assn.

During his tenure at Texas Moving Co., Inc., David has developed and managed some of the largest relocations in the Dallas Metroplex in the past several years. David was Dallas Area Project Manager for the Exxon Mobil merger, one of the largest corporate mergers in history, has managed several major relocations for Perot Systems Corporation, and other clients such as Dell Services, Weaver & Tidwell, Raytheon Systems Lewisville, Mary Kay Company, MCI/WorldCom, G.M.A.C., Cinemark USA, Levi Strauss Co., Hillwood Development Co., Interstate Batteries, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and CVS Caremark.

David is currently active in the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), DFW Metroplex Chapter, having previously served as Job Bank Chairman and Educational Chairman. David is also Texas Moving Co., Inc. representative at Dallas BOMA meetings, and is Texas Archives representative at Dallas ARMA meetings. In 2004-2006, David served as Vice President of Membership and member of the Board of Directors for Dallas ARMA.

Andy Abbas

Director

Andy Abbas is co-founder and VP of Business Development at Data Agility Group (DAG), the only company specializing solely in data migration-related services. Andy's professional mission is to provide solutions that truly fulfill the needs of businesses. Andy's background uniquely qualifies him for the fulfillment of that mission. He's been involved in IT for over 30 years, with decades of service in various IT leadership positions. Andy's experience at companies like AT&T and Sears has largely been focused upon application, systems, and data center relocations. At AT&T, Andy led efforts in developing and streamlining processes for providing storage solutions. Andy co-founded DAG in 2007. And in just a few short years, the company established itself as an industry leader in the field of data center migrations and related services. With Andy's guidance, DAG has earned a reputation for leveraging technical expertise in the achievement of customers' business needs and goals.

Brent Keating

Director

Brent Keating is the Dallas Area Director for National Technologies (NTI), where he runs the general operations, oversees high profile projects, and leads teams of data center technicians.

NTI specializes in providing a full range of data center installations including but not limited to data center whitespace infrastructure, colocation client deployments, and cabling design. NTI is also an industry leader of high-capacity fiber optic installation, fusion splicing, and testing. National Technologies has established itself as the contractor partner of choice for data center operators, network providers, and many of the most recognized high tech companies. NTI’s client base operates over 27 million sq. ft. of data center floor and over 4.2 million route miles of fiber optic backbone. In recent years, NTI has enjoyed exponential growth due to the high quality of its services and innovation.

A veteran of both the telecommunications and data center industries, Brent has held a variety of technical and sales roles spanning nearly 2 decades. He has been very active in the data center community, traveling globally selling colocation and managed services as well as working with data center operators, contractors, and integrators on data center infrastructure projects. He's been focused on client deployment projects of all sizes and scopes.

Brent is an alumnus of Oklahoma State University and holds a BAAS degree in Applied Technology and Performance.
