Cindy L. Joos has held multiple leadership positions throughout her career in data centers and currently, she is the the Senior Director, Customer Operations & Client Success for NTT Global Data Centers, Americas. She manages a team of Client focused people, everything Customer is in her prevue at NTT Global Data Centers, Americas.  Prior to joining NTT GDC Americas, she was VP, Global Shared Services for Cyxtera Technologies. In this role she managed customer care teams, service delivery, and engineering support for all data centers, maintenance contracts, process, standards, procedures, and metrics. In her roles as Senior Director in the West Region, she managed a team of 180 at 18 Data Centers in the West, supporting $20M of operational and $9M of capital expenditures. In her engineering and mechanical role, she had 24 mechanical and electrical engineers that supported six global regions with 59 global data centers, supporting 1.6 million square feet of data center space and 2.5 megawatts of power. The team created and approved all procedures and processes in the data centers, as well as doing the design, research, and creation of energy and efficiency projects supporting the power usage effectiveness concept. In conjunction with the engineering team, an extensive maintenance management support team handled all vendor support calls and contracts and management for all data centers.  Joos also, managed a controls engineering team supporting all building management systems. The tools team supports IT solutions, including a metrics dashboard and a data center Infrastructure Management tool that is standard across all data centers.

Joos has a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems with a minor in business from Regis University. Joos received the CenturyLink Circle of Excellence in 2013 for the integration of Savvis and Qwest data centers, as well as many spot awards throughout her career. Her team was awarded the Uptime Brill award submitted by and awarded to the CenturyLink Engineering team in 2014. 

Stephanie Henley

Stephanie Henley is a Corporate Economic Development Manager with Xcel Energy, a Fortune 200 investor-owned utility. In her role, Stephanie supports key customer expansions and helps attract new customers to Xcel’s service territory in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. She also helps manage Xcel’s economic development offerings and promotes energy efficiency and renewable energy programs to businesses from target industry clusters. Prior to joining Xcel, Stephanie worked for the Colorado Governor’s Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT). While at OEDIT, she marketed Colorado to foreign direct investors, helped Colorado companies export to international markets and supported State-led economic development initiatives. Stephanie has a Master’s Degree in International Development from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Oregon. She is an outdoor enthusiast, marathoner and mother.

Kristy joined Microsoft in January 2019. As part of the Azure Global Infrastructure Strategy and Development Team, Kristy’s remit includes supporting the expansion of Azure’s cloud regions globally as well as the enablement of Availability Zones across Azure’s existing region portfolio. Prior to Microsoft, Kristy was Vice President with T5 Data Centers, a leading provider of data center services including development, leasing, facilities management and construction services.

Director, Solutions Engineering - Digital Realty

Matt has more than 20 years of experience in the data center industry. As Director, Solutions Engineering Matt leads a team of Digital Realty Solution Engineers working with customers to find solutions to their data center and IT challenges. Prior to that Matt led the design team at CoreSite as the VP of Data Center Design, and as Vice President of Technical Operations at CoreSite, he managed complex deployments and provided technical guidance on power and cooling challenges to help customers meet their business needs. As Senior Consultant & Tier Certification Authority at Uptime Institute, Matt led Tier certification teams and providing industry and Tier education to clients around the world. Matt began his career at IBM.
