Jordan Voss

Chapter President

Jordan Vos is a graduate of Iowa State University in Electrical Engineering and has held roles in the consulting engineering industry for 15+ years.  His career has focused on design and construction of high performance engineering solutions with projects ranging from healthcare, industrial and mission critical industries.  Jordan currently serves as a Principal at KCL Engineering in West Des Moines.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds (PE) certification as a Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP).  Jordan is married with 5 children and enjoys spending time with family, the occasional house projects, and water sports when time allows.

Ken Kremer

Chapter Treasurer

Ken Kremer, Chief Operations Officer has been with Involta since 2007 and has worked in the information technology industry since 1987.  He has previously held leadership positions in high tech companies focusing on operational efficiencies, innovated solution engineering and regulatory compliancy issues. His career has been focused on data center operations and managed services since 1997 and has led Involta with the design and construction of 9 new Data Centers in the past 10 years.  Ken is married with 3 children and enjoys vacations, sports and outdoor activities.

Jerry Protheroe

Chapter Secretary

Jerry Protheroe graduated from The University of Iowa with a BBA in Finance.  Jerry started his career in IT with Shell Oil Company located in Houston, Texas.  Since 2011, he has served as the Director of Data Centers, including Data Center colocation hosting for the University of Iowa.  Jerry is married with two daughters.  His hobbies and interests include Open Water Swimming, Yoga and Fly fishing.

Nathan Edwards

Chapter Director at Large

Nathan Edwards grew up on a small farm in SW Iowa and still enjoys getting back to help with farm work when he can.  After graduating from DMACC in 2000, Nathan started his professional career with Pulley and Associates doing Mechanical and Electrical CAD design.  From 2006 to Present, he has worked at Data Power Technology Group doing Critical Facility Sales.  Nathan truly enjoys working with local engineers, contractors, IT, and facilities groups assisting them in their critical infrastructure needs.  He is a BIG Chicago Bears fan and enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with family and friends.
