Lance Kekel

Chapter President

Lance is the Data Center manager for Signet Jewelers, with his responsibilities spanning both the physical data center space and the IT infrastructure and Operations area. Lance completed renovations of the Signet corporate Data Center, including the replacement of the Raised floor in a live environment with Zero unplanned downtime.

Lance has been a member of AFCOM for since 2006 and has served several terms as a chapter board member.

Pamela Schafer

Chapter Membership Director

Over 30 years of experience in Data Center Operations and Facilities currently with The Timken Company. Member of AFCOM since 2005 as Chapter past President, past Vice President and current Membership Director.

Chris Dickens

Chapter Treasurer

29 years in Data Center Operations and Facilities at Bridgestone Americas. Member of AFCOM since 2004 as Chapter Treasurer and Past President.

Richard Fasig

Chapter Secretary

IT Systems Engineer Consultant at Progressive Insurance, working in IT Operations/Engineering at Progressive for over 35 years. Responsible for planning & managing the data center raised floor equipment and environmental infrastructure. AFCOM member since 2005 (have attended 7 Data Center World National Conferences since 2005) and AFCOM Northeast Ohio Chapter member since 2010.

Ethel Naseem

Events Director

Ethel has been employed at Cleveland Clinic for 25 years. Her current position is Data Center Operations Manager. Past job experiences include being a Healthcare Consultant for Shared Medical Systems, a Customer Support Manager for Ecotran Corporation, and an End-User Training and Support person for Union Carbide Corporation.

Academically, Ethel has an Associate’s degree in Data Processing from the local Community College. She has an Under Graduate degree in Business Management; and a Graduate degree in Business Administration

In addition to her love for sports and books, Ethel devotes many hours to volunteer work. For over fifteen years she was part of the Vocational Information Program, a program that tutored inner city youths in math and English; she also served on the Board of Directors of that program until they lost their funding.
